Natsu e no Tobira

I went into this movie completely blind. I didn’t know anything at all, only that I needed to finish it so I can finish my goal. And holy shit how this just went from boring to “WHAT?!”. My jaw dropped when a random woman, who was yet to be introduced, getting off the train, that the main character stopped, staring at the boy, saying a sentence and then straight up kissed the teenager. And after calling him naive and introducing herself before just walking off. Hello?! Nice to meet you too, what the fuck was that? My jaw was dropped on how out of nowhere that came. When I clicked on the movie I never thought I was getting into a movie where it talked about a grown woman taking advantage of a teenager. And the teenager falling in love with her. That later came out that he was also a homosexual, apparently. He didn’t really like love or woman really but like the older one, that never really got explained properly. We find out that one of his friends, male friend, was in love with him. He was distraught by the fact the main character looked at that grown woman. And when the main character finds out at a stable. The friend had taken a whole bottle of pills and was completely out of it. Trying to kill himself, because he thought he was a sinner/the devil had entered him because he was interested in men. He jumped the main character and kissed him before the main character hits him with a whip so hard that his forehead bleeds. The friend runs out of the stable, yelling sorry whilst crying and the next scene he is dead in a river, the main character crying over his body when he is brought to shore. The main character ends up shot because two of his other friends are fighting over a girl. After that the friend group was gone. One dead, the other injured, don’t remember what happened to the third (probably transferred schools) and the fourth was now alone, waiting for the girl’s answer (because he proposed. I don’t really know what I watched, none of the things that happened I expected (except for the shooting part, we see that in the beginning of the film.) This animated film is located in France
