I really felt for Hashirama seeing him hold Itama like that; it's heartbreaking to imagine what it must be like for him, knowing his own generation, and now these kids, are just thrown into a brutal war they never asked for. it just makes me wonder if he ever truly found peace with all the fighting he had to endure and eventually cause.
