I actually don't mind this filler because seeing the foundation stuff is fascinating, especially Danzo being a total menace. Tenzo struggling with the order to kill Kakashi felt really intense since they are both leaf shinobi. The animation during the wood style part was incredible. It makes me appreciate how much Kakashi went through before we met him in the original show.
