Seeing Yahiko's face on one of Pain's bodies was genuinely jarring for me, and you could just feel Jiraiya's crushing despair realizing his old student became this monstrous enemy. Pain’s chilling speech about the cycle of hatred made me seriously wonder if there’s any escaping that kind of endless suffering in their world.
