Naruto (Shinsaku Anime)
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A stubborn, loudmouthed kid with a giant fox demon sealed inside him, Naruto Uzumaki is the last person anyone in his village takes seriously, and most people would rather forget he exists. His big dream is to become Hokage — basically the strongest ninja and leader of the Hidden Leaf Village — which sounds delusional for a kid who can barely pass his academy exams. This new anime, made for Naruto's 20th anniversary, revisits those early days with a fresh adaptation. You get Naruto teamed up with the brooding prodigy Sasuke and the sharp but underestimated Sakura, all under Kakashi, a mentor who reads novels during combat and somehow still outclasses everyone. The first missions seem straightforward enough, but the show is already layering in the tension and world-building that made the original run so addictive — rival ninja villages, unique jutsu systems, and that constant undercurrent that things are about to get way more serious. At only four episodes, it's a tight watch that doesn't drag. The vibe is action-packed but grounded in real character dynamics, where friendships actually cost something. If you grew up on One Piece or Bleach, this hits that same nerve of scrappy underdogs fighting their way up. And if you've never touched Naruto before, this is honestly a clean entry point without hundreds of episodes staring you down. The world-building hooks you fast, and the character work keeps you there.
