Every day, Takashi Komiya wakes up to a reality most people would find hard to believe — sharing a home with three women who are way out of his league: his Russian step-mother Yuriya, a former gravure model with zero subtlety about her appeal, and his two step-sisters: Anna, the composed older one with carefully hidden cracks, and Rina, the bratty younger one whose attitude masks something she'd never admit out loud. On the surface, it's a quiet household. Then Takashi stumbles onto what they've all been doing behind closed doors — cosplay, late-night hookups, secrets they'd very much prefer stayed secret. He decides to use that information. Whether that's clever or deeply questionable is kind of the point. The two-episode OVA, based on a manga and produced by T-Rex, keeps things moving without a lot of downtime. T-Rex's animation style is noticeably cleaner than a lot of comparable releases — the character work holds up throughout. The appeal here is less shock value and more the slow unraveling of each woman's carefully maintained facade, with Yuriya, Anna, and Rina all getting genuine character moments alongside everything else. If you've watched Oni Chichi or Ane Yome Quartet and wanted something with a bit more distinct personality per character, this scratches that itch. Same energy as Imouto Paradise in terms of tone, but the step-family dynamic and the blackmail angle give it a specific flavor. Short runtime, focused story, does what it sets out to do.
