📖 SYNOPSIS
"Mushi-Uta" is set in a near-future where insect-like creatures called "Mushi" grant supernatural abilities by consuming human dreams and thoughts. The story begins with Daisuke "Kakkou" Kusuriya, who meets Shiika Anmoto, a young girl. They form a close bond, unaware that Shiika is a fugitive from GARDEN, a secret prison for those possessed by Mushi, known as Mushitsuki. The Special Environmental Conservation Executive Office, GARDEN's military arm, dispatches a killer to recapture Shiika. However, they encounter opposition from the Mushibane resistance organization, led by the enigmatic "Ladybird." The series explores themes of power, control, and the struggle for freedom in a world where dreams are a commodity.
