Mr. Clice

Meet Jin Clice: Japan's top spy — suave, deadly, the whole package. Then the KGB basically kills him, and the agency decides they've spent too much money training this guy to let him die. Their solution? Transfer his mind into the only available body they can find: a recently deceased young female tennis player. So now Jin has to keep doing elite espionage work while figuring out how to operate in a body that's nothing like his old one. The comedy pretty much writes itself from there. Jin's still got his killer instincts and spy training, but every mission now comes with a layer of absurdity as he adjusts to his new reality. It's got that classic shounen energy where the action stays sharp but the show never takes itself too seriously. Think of it as what you'd get if you crossed the globe-trotting capers of Lupin III with the gender-bending chaos of Ranma ½, then threw in some of the slick gunplay from City Hunter. The premise sounds ridiculous, and it kind of is, but that's the whole appeal. If you're into spy stories that lean more fun than gritty, and you don't mind your protagonist dealing with an identity crisis mid-firefight, this one's worth checking out. Based on a shounen manga, so expect the tone to stay light even when things get dangerous.
