More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers.

I feel like this is a mild ending to this story, especially after the last episode where that bomb was dropped. And this episode felt like Jirou doesn't really react from what happened before, which is insane. But the dates in this episode is nice. Overall a good enough ending for this series.

Alexa, play Exile by Taylor Swift because WHAT?! I've seen this film before, and I didn't like the ending. What have you done, Jirou?! Why did you do that thing you did at the end?! I don't know anymore, I'm just vibing, I'm team Minami now, he's best boy, I can't believe Minami has more compassion and observant than our MC, Jirou, and now I get why people flock to him. I'm sorry, I'm crashing out over here.

I do not like Jirou here at all. He's a coward and also went back on his words. That scene after he picked up the food was the worst, especially how it ended. And I feel like this episode is there just for that fanservice at the end with Jirou and Akari, which sucks because I know the writer can write better than this. Overall, a meh episdoe.

We get an episode where the characters are in one place now, I guess this type of episode is mandatory for romcom anime. I do NOT like how Jirou seemed to always come back to Shiori when we already know who he is feeling for now (Especially that firework episode), and it makes me feel so bad for Shiori that she's been strung along. But whatever, let's just enjoy this anime as it is. I hope we get more Shiori (Without Jirou) and Minami scenes.

I like that we slowly get to know other characters, even if it's so little that it felt a bit redundant, but it's still enjoyable for me at least. Again, I feel like the story is dragging a little bit, with Jirou's feelings still unresolve or even get a little bit of closure. I feel like we're going to dance around this until the last episode, just a hunch.

That competition near the end perfectly visualizes how both girls are now fighting on completely equal ground for Jirou. It is an awesome conclusion and the ending leave a massive cliffhanger.

A sweet little episode where Akari's friend seemed to have notice how Akari was acting and (Maybe) feeling with Jirou. I really like how supportive her friends are, and this episode feels like the turning point of Akari's feelings, esepcially after that scene with the phone with Jirou. I hope they don't do us dirty and went back to status quo.

The massive love polygon completely explodes this episode. The emotional pacing is absolute perfection with Minami’s surprisingly deep, bittersweet backstory. Honestly, the character vibes hit an all-time peak here, leaving you stressed out over who Jiro is actually going to choose.

I wanted to see more Shiori, but at what cost? I can't believe the author pulled that infirmary scene out of her, I always trusted female author, but damn I felt like this episode is redundant. I thought since the author is a female, they'll treat the childhood bestfriend more nicely, but I guess Shiori will still be just a tool here. But I do appreciate that, once again, the miscommunication trope is solved in one episode.

Jiro is getting some quality time beachside with Shiori. The pacing balancing that initial cute summer romance with a deeper, more heavy-hearted look at how Akari's feelings are starting to change.

I feel like my premonition has come true, with this episode filled with mostly fluff and fanservice, without any progress on the character, which is a bit sad. The only time I feel like the character isn't going in circle is with Akari, but even then, it's so minor with her jealousy, and it was overshadowed by the excessive fanservice during the study scene. I hope the next one will be better.

This epsidoe we continued from the one before where we see Jirou seemed to slowly see Akari, which is cute. I really like that the anime doesn't go with the miscommunication for a prolonged time, because I HATE that trope. The relationship of Jirou and Akari slowly blooms, especially at the end, with Jirou comment. Overall a cute episode, but I need more Minami and Shiori too! (I know they're not the main pair, but I always love the second pair, if there's any lol)

All of this episode was all because of Jirou's loud mouth. But I was glad this episode happened, because both Jirou and Akari needed it. I feel like this is the place where both of them are a bit more honest and feel something shifted, which is always fun. And after seeing the ranking, I'm really rooting for Shiori and Minami to be the second couple, PLEASE!

I feel like the pacing of this anime is going on a little bit too fast for my liking. For now, I like how the story is going, as we get to know the character, and I feel like the scenes mostly aren't there just for fluff, but I'm scared that if this anime doesn't take it slow, the plot might run thin. But other than that, I'm glad to think that my hope will be fulfilled as we get to see Shiori here with Jirou. I feel like this is one of those anime that doesn't neglect their side characters, hopefully

From the premise, I thought this would be a nonsensical romcom where the protagonist go get into shenanigans, but this first episode actually gave us context and some really cute moments, like the umbrella scene. The animation was quite good. And it's obvious that Jirou and Akari will end up together, but I do hope we'll see more of Shiori and Minami too, they're kind of cute too lol.

Un episodio de cierre de temporada que nos deja con las expectativas de lo que pueda ocurrir, donde vemos a las protagonistas determinadas a avanzar y con una escena cargada de simbolismo. Es interesante el contraste entre cómo eran las cosas cuando empezó todo y cómo son ahora. Lamentablemente, la temporada se estrenó ya hace varios años y no se sabe de una siguiente, por lo que deja el anime como un final abierto. Un anime que tiene dinámicas divertidas y es interesante ver el progreso de los personajes, pero que ocupa muchos tropos recurrentes de este género y conveniencias de guion para avanzar en la trama. Además, si no gustan los cuadrados amorosos es frustrante de ver (realmente lo pasé mal por eso).

Un episodio en donde vemos desarrollo de los 4 personajes. A Shiori más decidida, a Akari convencida, a Minami más maduro, aunque a un Jiro muy indeciso; lo más frustrante de todo. Ya es momento de pasar a la acción. El escenario ya está armado para que se avance en algo el próximo episodio.

Un episodio donde la relación de los protagonistas progresa y se ve un encuentro más íntimo entre ellos. Me va gustando cómo van progresando ambos, aunque mucho de ese progreso se debe a conveniencias o tropos típicos.

The aftermath of the summer festival brings things back to the apartment. The pacing balances those cozy, slightly spicy apartment vibes with a deeper look into the unrequited side of everyone's crushes. The shift in character dynamics here makes the whole love quadrangle feel way more complex.
