It really is quite convenient to have an AI explain everything to you (them) in one entire episode rather than gradually revealing it. I've seen this before in other shows but I think in this one it's a bit lazy? Because in the end it conveniently disappears so we still have things unanswered. But hey, a lot of questions were answered so the lore is decently covered so far. Only two more episodes to go, will the ending be worthwhile?
