Sayla seems to be on the verge of doubting her stance on the Federation versus Zeon. Other than that, there's no particularly compelling plot twist. The battle with Zeon has become a regular occurrence from episode to episode, as has the battle between Amuro and Char. On the other hand, I was quite entertained by the antics of the three White Base kids the main characters in this episode.
