Midnight Occult Civil Servants

This episode is a bit slow-paced. Miyako helped an Another with amnesia who turns out to be a forgotten god. It was nice, and it left a note worth pondering that gods cease to exist when people forget about them.

In your face Kanoichi! LOL. But it was so mesmerizing to see Anothers and humans work together. Although I fully agree with the Tengus' choice not to help initially since it was really the humans' fault, their ecological balance would really be off. It was also nice to hear different perspectives from the characters about Anothers helping. All's well that ends well.

I'm growing a nerve as to how sarcastic Kanoichi is towards Miyako about his Ears of Sand. He does have a point about not all the time can you talk it out, but still, he was very annoying. And again, it turns out he had a thing in the past about an Another-related incident. I agree with what Senda said too! Being too arrogant will make you fail in the end.

The angst of Kanoichi in this episode is high. I knew there was something off about him, and I was totally shocked at what he just did with the Another. Although his ways are practical to save the kids, Miyako also has valid points on why he's not doing it his way. The tension is rising, and it'll be more intense in the next episode!

I love this episode! Miyako and Kohaku's relationship deepened and it was like he was re-enacting the moments he had with Seimei. I love Kuro and Yuki's bickering too. And I did not imagine what power Kohaku has over the other Anothers. They were all spooked by him! Poor Theo and Senda, though. LOL.

I love how twisted and dark this episode is and how it turned into a wholesome reunion with Sakaki's sister. I thought the kidnapped girls would stay incapacitated for the rest of their lives. Thankfully, they were back to normal, though it's a bummer it wasn't explained further how it works. I love the little sneak peek at the end. It seems like the Devil is not yet finished with his ominous plans.

This episode was sort of connected to the previous one, related to Sakaki's past. Miyako was able to piece it together when Sakaki started sharing his problem from the past who happens to be connected with the current issues the Occult Civil Servants are facing. This episode is a bit dark and a bit of a cliffhanger, so you gotta stay tuned for the next one.

I knew it! From the time I saw the Another and the box she was holding, while explaining what she was looking for! 🙌 What I like so far in this series is how they are incorporating folklore and mythology. And I really dig this type of plot. ❤️

A drinking battle with Another?! No humans will win that! But Sakaki, as a former host club member, stood his ground until reinforcements came! 👏 The god just wants another drinking buddy for at least a hundred years, no big deal. Their concept of time is really out of this world! Pun intended! 😂

As usual, this episode did not disappoint me! Now I am so curious how powerful and influential Abe no Seimei was in the past because he was able to attract even the god of tricksters! Although what he did in this episode was unforgivable, Sasaki was right—how can you prosecute an Another? So there's no helping it.

So the reason why Miyako could understand the Anothers is because their clan is bearing a very powerful onmyoji in their bloodline, and apparently he was one of them. I mean, just how cool is that? I wanted one too—but on second thought, never mind. It'll be troublesome for sure. Apparently, a powerful Another has appeared, and it seems that it knows Miyako's bloodline. Gah! Can't wait to watch the next episode! ✨

First episode and I'm already hooked! 'Cause what do you mean Miyako Arata perfectly fits his new job?! What do you mean he was the only one who could understand the "Anothers"?! I am totally invested, and I'm gonna give this a 10/10!

This chapter is more low-key and shows Arata interacting with a mysterious character. Overall, I found it rather boring and slow, as nothing of note happens, and the main storyline remains unresolved for the time being.

An imminent conflict is looming between humans and the goddess who created the silk cocoons. I really liked Arata’s involvement and the way he dealt with the conflict throughout the episode.

This episode effectively explores the ethical dilemmas Arata faces in relation to his work and his colleagues. As the episode unfolds, the hostile relationship between Arata and Kanoichi intensifies, which will have consequences for both of them.

Here, Arata takes centre stage much more, and new characters who work with him are introduced throughout the episode. I really liked the impulsive side Arata shows, which is different from other times, and the way his character develops.

It’s a very laid-back episode that focuses on the daily lives of each of the characters in the wake of recent events. We get to see a more sentimental side to Kohaku as she reflects on the past, and her friendship with Arata begins to grow stronger.

I think Kohaku is the standout character in this episode because of her personality and her role in it. I think the ending adds a powerful emotional impact to the anime.

I like the darker atmosphere in this episode and the way the tension builds as they investigate the mysterious disappearances. We also get to know Kyoichi a bit better as a character and learn more about his past.
