And the series ends in an affirmation of friendship, which is quite fitting considering what our main characters went through. And to be honest, it felt like I was there too, and I assume many viewers would have felt the same way. The show started strong, then it tried to find what works for it, managed to find its bearings midway, and finished as solidly as it once began. The emotional moments and deep thematic plotlines became its signature elements and they are more than enough to carry this anime all the way through. Technically, the animation is okay and the visuals are a cut above the rest, but the audio is on another level altogether, especially on that one mini-arc where it enhanced the atmosphere in more ways than one. Overall, I highly recommend this anime for everyone actually, I don't think I have seen a single offensive thing about it. Although in the earlier episodes it struggled a little, but it ended with a very satisfying conclusion. This is one story that I'll truly cherish for a long time.
