📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime is set in 21XX, a future where Reploids, robots based on Dr. Light's original design, Megaman X, are a common part of society. Dr. Cain's rediscovery of Dr. Light's lab led to the widespread creation of these advanced robots. The story follows X, a Reploid who has joined the Maverick Hunters, an organization dedicated to eliminating rogue Reploids. X works alongside his unit leader, Zero, under the command of General Sigma. Their mission is to terminate Reploids that have become violent and pose a threat to the peaceful Reploid and human population. The anime explores themes of robotic sentience, the dangers of unchecked technological advancement, and the struggle for peace in a world grappling with the rise of rogue AI.
