Maria Watches Over Us

This episode was cute but uneventful. It felt more like a mid-season filler episode than a season finale. This series is a casual watch for people who enjoy slice-of-life and are okay with very little in the way of plot progression. Definitely not for everyone.

This episode was really cute. It was fun seeing Sachiko so out of her element with completely ordinary things like ordering and eating a burger. A great episode for getting to know the characters in a more casual setting, and a very entertaining watch.

This episode was extremely interesting, with a romance between Rosa Gigantea and a former classmate exploring unhealthy romantic obsession and religion. The relationship between Rosa Gigantea, her souer and Yoko is also incredibly touching. Best episode so far by a mile.

This episode was quite confusing. There was a huge buildup over the episode to Rosa Gigantea's "taboo past", but when it was actually revealed, it could not have been a milder, more anticlimactic story. The premise was fun, but the conclusion was a let-down.

This episode shows an outside perspective on last episode's events, providing an explanation for the missing red card and showing multiple very sweet interactions between the girls. It was very pleasant viewing and made many of the girls more likeable. A good watch overall.

Despite being fairly uneventful, this episode was more entertaining than the past few have been. It was nice to see Yumi and Sachiko get over their communication issues and have positive interactions for once. Much more enjoyable.

A deeply frustrating watch. The main conflict of this episode had to do with a lack of communication, and it was frankly such a minor issue that the entire episode felt frivolous and annoying to watch. Not enjoyable in the least.

This episode wasn't bad at all, but it lacked entertainment value. Like the previous episode, it focuses on a set of Rose sisters, but the storyline is short-lived and lacks meaningful tension. The whole series feels somewhat lacklustre so far.

This was a somewhat anticlimactic conclusion to the 'Yellow Rose revolution' from the previous episode. It was sweet, and Yumi is definitely coming into her own as a main character, but it just felt like a bit of a nothing burger. Barely entertaining.

This episode gave some focus to the relationships in the other rose families, with some dramatic and shocking happenings in the latter part of the episode. The plot as such is unclear so far, but the show is not unentertaining. Something bigger is definitely afoot.

The pacing of this one was odd. On the one hand, the development of Sachiko and Yumi's relationship was great and felt natural, but on the other, significant very information was dropped, and the school festival was completely skipped over. Definitely could have been better.

If you're looking for some fast-paced, interesting plot, this is definitely NOT the anime for you. But if you want to peek into the lives of a variety of female characters and the relationships they share under the term "sisters," then this is the anime for you. Nothing too special about the plot of this episode either; it just continues from the last one and is a little wholesome, that's about it.

That cliffhanger was pretty bad lmao. Besides, the episode was pretty mediocre, at least Rei and her date seemed to be having a good time while the other two couples were a lot more awkward. This was more of a laid-back episode except perhaps the end.

OMG SHE SAID THE NAME!!! ROLL CREDITS!! Well, this was quite an emotional rollercoaster, a continuation of the previous episode and slightly better given the context. The pacing was decent too. I loved Sei's last line, absolutely adorable.

This was an entire episode dedicated to Rosa Gigantea's lore... in my completely honest opinion, this whole story was hyped way too much, and the pacing felt quite dragged out to cover the entire episode. Probably one of my least-liked episodes so far; I was expecting something slightly more engaging and interesting for this well-written character.

This episode felt less rushed than the first, with a lot of the weird terminology and character introductions out of the way. There was more opportunity to get to know Yumi and Sachiko, but neither of them is particularly likeable as yet. Improved, but not the most entertaining.

Basically, this was the same as the last, except it was from a different perspective. I'm really starting to think this sister tradition is not only about them being sisters. This different-perspective episode is honestly pretty predictable, and you probably wouldn't miss much if you skipped most of it.

Yumi really needs to stop jumping to conclusions, and I can see why Sachiko got a little mad with her initially. The whole Valentine's Day game was a little underwhelming, but this episode did help further the relationships of quite a few characters quite wholesomely.

We really gotta throw communication out of the window to make these episodes work. That's clearly what's happening between Sachiko and Yumi rn. Also, love the way the other sisters hurry away when there's drama, like it's a domestic affair they're not allowed to meddle in. For once, I'm actually curious to see how this situation is gonna get resolved.

After the happy conclusion with Yoshino and Rei, the anime moves on to focus in on the relationship between Rosa Gigantea and her little sister Shimako. A new character is introduced only to raise the tension for this single episode. I honestly preferred the Yoshino-Rei arc cuz this one just seems quite bland.
