📖 SYNOPSIS

Kyou kara Maou! follows the journey of Yuri Shibuya, a typical Japanese high school student who finds himself thrust into a fantastical realm strikingly similar to medieval Europe. After a bizarre incident involving bullies and a portal hidden within a toilet, Yuri is crowned the Demon King due to his unique physical characteristics. Initially met with resistance from certain demons who doubt his suitability for the role, Yuri is able to gain their acceptance by demonstrating his magical potential in a duel. The anime then centers on Yuri's experiences as he learns the responsibilities of being a Demon King, focusing on his efforts to establish a harmonious relationship between the human and demon populations of his new kingdom, amidst the political and social complexities of his new world.
