A really comfy start to the series. Sarasa’s backstory was sad, but it made her dream of becoming an alchemist feel meaningful. I liked how hard she worked despite being alone, and seeing her finally graduate and get support from her master was satisfying. It sets up a relaxing fantasy story with a hardworking main character that’s easy to root for.
