Mama Katsu: Midareru Mama-tachi no Himitsu
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After years apart, Yoshiya Imamoto reunites with his older sister Kyouko, and the problem is pretty clear from the start — he never really moved on from her. She's married now, settled, surrounded by her close friends Fumika and Touka, and Yoshiya can't quite accept any of it. What unfolds is a tangle of repressed feelings, complicated loyalties, and adult relationships that get messy fast. This 4-episode OVA from studio Nur leans hard into the emotional friction between characters who all want things they probably shouldn't, and it doesn't shy away from where that leads. The drama feels grounded in recognizable human impulses — jealousy, longing, the weird grief of watching someone you care about build a life without you — even as the situations escalate well beyond everyday territory. If you've watched something like Ane Yome Quartet or Ane Koi: Suki Kirai Daisuki. and appreciated how those series use relationship tension to drive their stories, this hits similar notes. Fans of Oni Chichi will also find the emotional stakes familiar. The animation holds up well enough to carry the more dramatic and intimate moments without feeling cheap. It's a short watch, and it's upfront about what it is — adult content with a melodramatic emotional core built around one guy's inability to let go.
