It seems like this episode introduce someone who might be a possible love interest for Gorou. This episode also focus on Kaoru as it dive deep into her feelings towards Gorou as well. It's a great episode as previously Kaoru is also one of the main side characters who help in Gorou's growth and we often see her accompany Gorou as well.
