Maid-san to Boin Damashii
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The sprawling mansion Kazuhiro calls home hides a world he has absolutely no idea about — staffed entirely by maids who are secretly spirits with supernatural abilities. The head maid, Ayumi, has decided it's time to retire, but before she hands over the reins, she wants to make sure her young master is properly taken care of. What follows is two episodes of farewell gifts and new maid interviews, all handled with the subtlety you'd expect from a hentai OVA adapted from a visual novel. It's short, it's straightforward, and it leans fully into its harem setup without pretending to be anything else. The supernatural angle gives it a slight twist on the usual maid-fantasy format — think less Kamen no Maid Guy's absurd action comedy and more intimate character-focused scenarios with a light fantasy backdrop. If you've seen something like Ah My Buddha and wondered what it would look like with no restrictions, this is roughly that territory. Two episodes means there's no real commitment here, and the character designs are varied enough to keep things visually interesting throughout. It's not going to surprise you narratively — the premise is exactly what it sounds like — but if you're in the mood for a short, breezy hentai OVA with a maid-spirit hook and a harem structure, Maid-san to Boin Damashii delivers on what it's offering without overcomplicating things.
