There's some serious political business going down.

Sakuragi running decoy barefoot in a normal festival dress just to buy a single minute was such a reckless move and I respected it so much

I love how this show makes live coding under pressure feel just as intense as the magical girl fighting Nikoyama hacking from the outside while Yamimori figure things out inside was awesome

that bo-chan fusion form was sick. Seeing Sakuragi buy time in her normal clothes barefoot was intense and Nikoyama hacking from outside to save the day proves why this team is unmatched

I'm know where this is going from the manga, but I do really like seeing this play out.

Watching Bo-chan burst out of the gate seal on its own just to shield Sakae had everyone yelling at the screen

Shigemoto sitting up in a tree eating a burger while casually sabotaging the entire barrier made my blood boil

I was so happy when Bo-chan broke out of the seal just to protect Sakae

More of setting up the stakes this episode.

putting a legendary multi headed demon on a five dollar gas station flash drive is the most ridiculous thing this show has ever done and it completely works

Midorikawa pulling no punches on Hibiki was so needed, because that kid was driving me crazy with his attitude. But man, seeing Sakae transform into a traditional miko magical girl with those cyan flames made up for all his whining. That whole ritual sequence looked incredible, and I am genuinely concerned about that creepy sniper watching from the tree line

I lost my mind when Sakae did that shrine ritual transformation and her outfit turned into a combat miko dress with those cyan ribbons

The brown stuff is about to hit the fan.

That's just mean tossing the rookie into the interview process.

Shigemoto and the Director having that flashback really explained why Magilumiere operates like a startup instead of treating the girls like tools for profit

Managing the technical side of magic where Shigemoto handles those magic channels like he is pushing code to production is hilarious and smart, especially since he uses those skills to protect Tsuchiba. Seeing him prioritize her with that giant Kuma-kun shield even after she was so rude to them proves to me he actually cares about the people on the front lines

You can really see Kana growing into her role when she identifies that tiny opening in the Kaii and tells a pro like Tsuchiba exactly when to fire her big blast

The grotesque Kaii design with all those toothy mouths and eyes was so terrifying and seeing it mutate in that dark research facility really set the mood for me

Fun little conclusion of the story arc.

I thought Hitomi with short hair in the flashback was a treat and that military uniform look was a huge contrast to her current outfit
