THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN HEAVY SPOILERS FOR MAGICAL DESTROYERS....

~!So I was one day randomly playing a round of AMQ and the opening for this show came on and i was like oh wow this is neat let me go and watch the show and so I did.And in the process I found a show much better than I could've ever imagined and in this review i'll be detailing what makes this show so special in the first place and trying to deflect most criticism towards this show but granted am not forcing anyone to enjoy this and I can certainly understand if you dont.

Magical Destroyers! takes place in 2008-2011 where the population of japan was brainwashed into following a new leader shobon and the only people who resisted and stood against it were the otaku that went into hiding and rebelled and started the cause to fight for what you like because you like it.Stopping them are the SSC's "Four Heavenly Kings" in a never ending fight against fascism in hopes of freedom to like what they like.

Now we have the premise and overall idea of the show layed out i'll be entering more spoiler heavy subjects this is your last chance to not be spoiled going in if you like what you hear so far go and watch the show.

I will start by argueing against plotholes, loose ends, etc that I and many others may of originally had when watching the show.

>What is with the sudden christ symbolism in episode its out of place and shoehorned in out of nowhere.

I wouldn't blame you for thinking this but hear me out in the ending there is a shot of otaku hero and the magical girls depicted in a biblical way with the girls looking like angels and otaku hero looking like a jesus/godlike figure,in the opening the final shot is a reference to the last supper, etc and this isn't the only time the show tapped into mythology/religion because Adam and Eve were also some of the heavenly kings.

>What about anarchy's past that made Adam and Eve corrupt.

This one may be a bit headcanoney but I believe that they were seeing Origin and the reason they got so corrupted was because if they were to kill OH and the girls the show would go off script and ruin shobons plans so it was always their fate to die and the origin headache thing is in place so it can't divert from script.

>Why are the people who died in episode 10/11 alive in episode 12.

To be honest im not entirely sure here but my best answer would be shobon was mentioned to be a bad writer/game dev and it was part of the script so possibly the reason why is because it was that way inside the script itself.

>The ending sucks it leaves on a cliffhanger and doesn't answer many thing.

And for this one its because... it doesn't need too? the whole point was to convey the message that even though otaku hero died the fire and sparks of his revolution didn't burn out and there will always be a relit fire no matter how much it dampens and that you can't stop people liking what they like.

>Didn't the magical girls snap out of there mind control why did they still fight the otaku at the end there.

Just because they broke the mind control doesn't mean they got their memories back because they didn't... and why would they suddenly become otaku all they remember is everything after otaku hero's death and have no connection to otaku culture outside of being mahou shoujo at that point in the series.

>So much of this show was wasting time with little plot progression.

Valid point but i'd argue the reason for this is because they are doing what they like because they like it and that is the pure body and soul of the show and it also builds up on screen memories for the girls so when they loose it all its that much more hurtful.

>The ending and show in general was just premotion for the garbage mobile game.

Wrong because you can claim that otaku hero 2 is the mobile games protagonist except... he's not, showing is better than telling I guess.

>So if he's not the mobile games protagonist who is he and why should we care.

While you may not care he's not just a last minute decision character he is another otaku hero that JUN INUGAWA had drew way before the anime released.

>Overall

So while you may not like Magical Destroyers hopefully this review will clear somethings up and help you appreciate the show for what it is.The show is generally about revolution and facism and accepting to enjoy things even if others may shun you for it because thats what makes you,you and you can find solitude inside that. Anyways remember to like what you like!!!!.!~
