Maesetsu! Opening Act

Es un final tranquilo, no hay realmente una conclusión impactante del concurso (porque no hay respuesta sobre quien ganó), pero la serie nunca trato de eso sino del camino que se sigue hacia la cima y que a veces hay más de una manera de llegar hasta ahí. Dicho eso... RDeco era mi favorito para ganar.

¡Por fin! He estado esperando tanto por este concurso, una parte de mi pensó que a lo mejor nunca lo veríamos y lo dejarían para una segunda parte, pero es bueno ver las preliminares. También se nota el crecimiento de todos, pero en mi opinión espero que gane RDeco.

Me encanta la hermana de Nayuta ¡y vimos su lado salvaje! Realmente esos personajes tan afables con pasados oscuros son geniales. Y como es normal en este anime... sigo sin entender la relación o porque le dan tanta cuerda a las jk cool, entiendo que sean el referente a vencer pero al mismo tiempo dan tantas muestras todas inconexas que me confunden

Inseguridad, falta de comunicación y decisiones tontas de la infancia! La mezcla perfecta para crear un problema de pareja que lleva al borde de la ruptura! Les dije que veía el drama venir, aunque lo que me inquieta es que siento que están dejando muy de lado la premisa que establecieron en el primer capitulo sobre pasar las preliminares del concurso... un concurso del que la mayoría de episodios ni mencionan y no veo la trama avanzar hacia allí.

¡Veo drama en el horizonte! Una cosa que no me había parado a pensar hasta el viaje a Osaka... es que el creador de este anime está un poco obsesionado con la comida ¡todo el rato están comiendo! Es impresionante, pero uno conoce nuestros platos más allá del ramen o el sushi.

Lo sentí como un episodio de relleno, ya que no pasa mucho más allá de ver a las chicas turisteando de la misma manera que cuando estaban en las aguas termales, así que un poco repetitivo si está.

El primer tropiezo siempre duele más, pero también es donde se prueba el temple y si vale la pena seguir o fue solo un pensamiento intrusivo que cogió mucho vuelo! Aunque me pregunto que le ocurría a la sempai.

Me encanta como los 3 grupos de inexpertos son observados y apoyados por sus sempais! Podemos notar su crecimiento en sus habilidades y en su confianza. La música del final si no entendí a que venia.

El duro golpe de realidad! Al fin me divertí con un chiste que hicieron en la serie, pero lástima que la comedia Manzai aun no crece en mi... bueno la de humor negro si le entendí más. Espero con ansias el cambio ahora que han aprendido algo importante.

Es un buen capitulo, vemos a otros comediantes desde los que ya están a medio camino del estrellato hasta los que aun siguen peleando por subir algunas escalas. Creo que eso les dio perspectiva a las chicas, pero también una gran determinación.

Me gusta como muestran lo difícil que es hacer comedia, que de hecho es un arte muy serio, aunque sigo sin entender los chistes, lo cuál triste, pero la relación entre las 4 chicas y conocer como empezaron, eso si esta lindo, empatizas mucho con ellas.

Nunca había sentido tanto el choque cultural con Japón, hasta este anime. Maesetsu es una historia que sigue a novatas de la comedia abrirse paso en la industria del entretenimiento, pero siendo solo 2 chicas y un sueño. No más. Le abono que no son estudiantes de instituto (aunque al principio me dio la ligera sensación que sí) como la mayoría de animes, sino que son estudiantes universitarias, cosa que casi no se ve en los animes. La animación me recuerda mucho al anime de inicio de los 2000s con sus ojos grandes y lleno de expresiones exageradas pero que con los avances de ahora no parece muy logrado. Y con la comedia... es una comedia muy muy propia de Japón, que ni siquiera sale en la mayoría de animes como el humor físico o ecchi sino del absurdo. Siento que debí reírme en varias partes pero es que no entendí el chiste.

Oh well, at least after the long buildup of this series, this episode finally showcases the characters' profound bond development and the growth of their dream careers. Despite the slow-burn pace throughout the series, this one felt a bit abrupt. It seems like it was starting to deeply establish its core, yet it felt rushed toward the conclusion with an open ending. Moreover, the comedic approach of this narrative is somewhat understandable in some parts, but at the same time feels flat. There is some distinctive comedy that is entertaining, but it really requires a deeper realization to catch up with.

The story's buildup took quite a long time to develop, and it ultimately fell short of the core plot substance that I had hoped for. Even though the comedic punch is a bit funny if you closely analyze each line, the execution is too short, making it still not totally entertaining. The only highlights of this series are its adorable animation and great music.

Following the compelling direction of the narrative substance from the previous episode, this one left my anticipation somewhat deflated. It reverted again to a typical friendship bonding setup, lacking a deeper core in both its story and comedic approach. For this kind of narrative, a profound buildup is essential to truly emphasize their journey toward achieving their career goals, rather than relying on a typical trope dynamic that causes the story to lose its direction. Although the general flow is still there, the story's momentum is hard to catch up with because it isn't impactful enough.

It effectively showcases now the narrative direction I'm looking for in this story flow, creating progress that is straight to its core focus and delivering the scenes with compelling substance, even though the comedic tone is still very flat and requires a bit of effort to fully understand before it clicks. I'm hoping this episode's narrative will consistently progress in the next episodes.

Despite displaying the other characters' own outlooks in the manzai industry in order to balance the narrative with some deeper story substance and humor, it still remains shallow with subtle humor for me. As the direction of the story is becoming a bit unclear to me and lacks a strong hook, the only redeeming parts of this anime are the beautiful art aesthetics and its playful sound effects. However, it still isn't quite engaging enough, and it definitely feels like it is still missing a lot.

Eventually, the episode features various styles of humor, which definitely sets a distinctive tone for the story. Although I don't quite get every punchline, it still showcases how different comedy dynamics work and how they impact the audience.

Significantly, this episode showcases a slightly profound connection between the two characters, which adds a subtle depth to the story. Apart from that, the animation pacing was still slow and kinda dragging. Even though the story highlights the depth of their friendship, it still maintains a very lethargic approach.

Well, this episode effectively highlights the characters' growth in developing their comedic skills, helping them progress toward their career goals. Aside from that, the sound effects really try to redeem the sluggish storyline and slow animation rhythm to make the scenes a bit more engaging.
