This episode really feels heavy to the heart. Riko and Reg are determined, but ultimately they are children challenging what is basically a suicide mission all for a letter and a chance of meeting someone important. This episode feels perfect in terms of pacing and shows the emotional depth the orphanage kids have shared over time, even though we only get to see them in two episodes.
