If the previous installments were cruel, this season was a haunting epic of "desire and cost." The story of Irumyuui and Veko laid bare the deepest dark of the Abyss. The agony and distortion Irumyuui endured to save the Ganja squad, alongside the unbearable despair of having her newborns harvested as food—this twisted portrayal of love left me completely breathless. The founding of Ilblu, the Village of the Narehate, was built entirely on immense sacrifices of Value. When Faputa brought ultimate destruction and Veko met her end carrying her love and guilt for Irumyuui, I simply couldn't stop my tears.
You have to watch the finale. This is one of the most emotionally impactful anime. The goodbye to the village and the final conversation between Faputa and Vueko is heart wrenching. It’s a beautiful, tragic and hopeful end to a wild season. 10/10.
I'm not crying, you are. The stakes are the highest they’ve ever been. You can really feel Faputa's rage and how confused she is about her own purpose. The character development for the Hollows who decide to help Faputa and Riko is surprisingly touching.
Faputa is on a total rampage. The animation for her fighting the villagers is brutal and beautiful at the same time. You really start to feel for Faputa. The story, the plot twist, this is peak fiction!
This anime blows my mind every episode. We’re back in the present and Faputa is eager for revenge. The tone shift from the sad flashback back to the chaotic present is perfect. Insane transition as always!
This is the darkest episode yet. Seeing how the Ganja squad survived is disturbing but it explains everything about why the village exists. This is peak storytelling.
Woah! I don't even know what to say! This is absolute cinema! Keep the tissues ready. It’s the origin story of the village. The pacing is a bit slower because it’s a flashback but the emotional impact of seeing what happened to Irumyuui and her babies is absolutely crushing!
The tension in this episode is through the roof. Watching the luring ritual where the village hunts beasts is insane. It's actually terrifying. The animation for the monsters is top-tier nightmare fuel.
This one’s an emotional gut punch and it's getting intense. Nanachi finding Mitty (or some version of her) with Belaf is an insane scene. I’m honestly worried for all of them.
You have to WATCH for the Reg/Faputa meeting. Faputa is such a wild character. She smells like the sun but is totally terrifying. This episode is a total game-changer because the mysteries are slowly unfolding. I love Riko! She is such a sweet soul.
This episode introduces “Value” and it’s brutal. Seeing a villager’s body torn apart as compensation for a mistake is haunting. I’m also rooting for the Ganja squad as they continue their search for the Golden City.
I love the trio and how they care for each other. Things get weird fast and the pacing is great as they explore the new layer. The animation looks amazing, and you really feel as confused as they are.
I already like episode 1. Belaf talking about the meaning of beauty with Vueko was really interesting. Some scenes felt kinda unsettling, but it just makes it more intriguing. Definitely a season to watch! I wanna see more of the Golden City journey.
A bittersweet and poetic finale that earns every emotion it asks of you. Faputa's journey reaches a deeply personal resolution, carried by raw, wordless moments that linger long after the credits roll. Beautifully restrained yet gut-wrenching, it leaves a reflective ache .
A powerful emotional peak where destruction meets compassion. Faputa’s rage collides with the villagers’ sacrifice, creating a haunting shift in perspective. The blend of brutality and empathy makes this episode deeply moving and unforgettable.
A devastating episode filled with loss, rage, and emotional conflict. Nanachi’s farewell hits hard, while Faputa’s rampage blurs justice and vengeance. Reg’s inner struggle adds depth, making this a painful yet powerful chapter.
A tense turning point where plans collapse into chaos. The truth behind the village’s desires adds moral complexity, while Faputa’s long-awaited entry ignites conflict. Fast-paced and heavy with consequences, it sets the stage for an inevitable tragedy.
An emotionally overwhelming continuation that ties past and present with devastating clarity. Faputa’s origin and rage are powerfully revealed, while the cruelty of the Ganja’s choices lingers. Haunting, tragic, and deeply impactful, it sets the stage for a painful climax.
A brutally tragic episode that dives deep into suffering and twisted hope. Irumyuui’s story is heartbreaking and disturbing, revealing the true horror behind survival in the Abyss. Emotional, grotesque, and unforgettable, it’s one of the series’ darkest peaks.
An intense blend of action and lore, as chaos erupts within the village. The battle raises stakes while uncovering deeper truths about Faputa and Iruburu. Emotional beats and tension collide, building momentum toward something tragic and inevitable.
