Thankfully it's a continuation from the previous episode. There's another back story of Lupin in this episode but it focuses on Tomoe and how she disappeared from his life. Mercedes' way of doing things doesn't even have elegance nor class at all, it's more of a banditry than thievery. The showdown between Lupin and Mercedes wasn't even considered a showdown at all, it was just a one sided beat down. The story was paced well, and the mystery kept pulling me in. The soundtrack is as always great, nothing beats a good jazz music during a beat down 😆
