Lupin III: Napoleon's Dictionary

Of course, roughly every spy agency on the planet figured out the same thing, so what starts as a road race turns into a rolling international incident with Lupin right in the middle of it. His crew is along for the ride: Jigen with a gun, Goemon with a sword, and Fujiko doing whatever Fujiko decides is best for Fujiko. Inspector Zenigata is also in pursuit, because he always is. The whole thing moves fast, keeps its tongue firmly in cheek, and never takes itself too seriously. This is a TV special from 1991, so it is a self-contained story — one sitting, no commitment required. The jazz-influenced soundtrack gives it that cool, slightly sleazy charm the Lupin franchise is known for.
