This episode is for the Rei fans. We finally get a peek at his backstory. He was a runaway fighting in alleys. And Seiya, who was a star even then, just… helped him. It explains everything about why Rei is so devoted to Izumi. He owes his entire life to the Sena family. The recaps are a bit much, but they also help new viewers catch up. The debut scene is probably the highlight Ryouma publicly clarifying that Izumi is not his girlfriend, and Shougo dropping the bombshell that Izumi is his brother. Izumi is now officially in the spotlight .
