Love Colon
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Wrestling with her feelings, her friendships, and where she stands with the guys around her — including the laid-back Maa-kun and the more intense Midorikawa Kenta — is high school girl Kurosaki Erika. That's the setup, and this 2-episode OVA from Studio 9 Maiami leans into that tension pretty directly. Based on emily's adult manga, Love Colon is a short-form hentai OVA that does at least put some effort into its characters before getting to the point. Erika has a personality, the relationships have a bit of history behind them, and the tone shifts between lighter, almost slice-of-life moments and more charged intimate ones. It's not trying to be a deep character study, but it's not purely mechanical either — there's a recognizable emotional thread running through it. If you've watched something like Love Love? or browsed through shorter romantic OVAs and wanted something with a bit more personality in the character designs, this scratches that itch. The art carries the manga's style reasonably well, and the pacing across two episodes feels deliberate rather than rushed. Going in with calibrated expectations is the move here. It's a compact, engaging adult OVA that delivers what it promises without much pretense. Not trying to be Love Hina. It knows what it is.
