Love 2 Quad
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Everything changes for regular high school student Wataru when his teacher, Aoi-sensei, corners him and asks him to take his clothes off — professionally, she insists, because she's actually a secret agent for an international defense organization called Cradle. The enemy they're fighting is a mysterious force called 4D, and apparently the only weapon capable of stopping it runs on the power of love, which means Wataru is now humanity's most reluctant and intimately active defender. Joining him are his childhood friend Honoka, classmate Ermalit, a stoic girl named Mirai who's arrived from the future, and Chitose, who's traveled from the past — all of them connected to this bizarre mission in ways that slowly come together across the three OVA episodes. The setup leans hard into absurdist comedy — the spy framing is played with enough self-awareness that it never takes itself seriously, and the character roster gives it more variety than you'd expect from something this short. If you've watched To Heart 2 and liked the multiple-girl dynamic, or if DNA² scratched that itch of ordinary guy dragged into chaotic supernatural circumstances, this sits in similar territory with a lighter, sillier energy. It's a short watch at three episodes, based on a visual novel, and produced by PoRO in 2012. Go in knowing what it is and it delivers on its own weird premise without overstaying its welcome.
