This is the episode where the plot machinery kicks in but Krai's solution is just, to run away, and it's hilarious every time. He gets buried under requests a rival family, a shady weapon dealing, a dragon grudge, an invite to a tournament and instead of picking one like a normal party leader, he just declares a vacation. It's a great character beat because it's not laziness exactly, it's pure conflict-avoidance dressed up as decisiveness, and everyone around him treats it like a genius strategic move.
