📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in 2039, where helper androids are commonplace, the story follows Keiichiro, a musician who retreated from his band after losing his family. He discovers an old, broken android in a garbage dump. Initially intending to discard it after learning it's beyond repair, he's surprised to find the android preparing breakfast for him. This unexpected act sparks a new chapter in Keiichiro's life. The anime explores the developing relationship between the memoryless android and the dreamless boy, highlighting themes of loss, companionship, and the search for meaning in a technologically advanced world. The film, originally an OVA, received a theatrical release that expands upon the original story.
