My Milk Cup Cow

📖 SYNOPSIS

The anime centers on the relationship between a father and his young daughter, Nunu. The story begins with the father telling Nunu that a cow is waiting for her at the bottom of her milk cup. Nunu, at the age of four, believes him and eagerly finishes her milk, only to find no cow. Despite this, the father persists in telling Nunu various lies. As time passes and the father continues his deceptive behavior, Nunu's initial trust in him begins to diminish. The narrative explores the themes of childhood innocence, the impact of parental deception, and the gradual loss of faith in a parent's words. The animation was created as Graduate Work in 2014 at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation.
