Komekami! Girls

Born from a single grain of rice, seven sisters make up the actual premise of this series. In Japanese folklore, there's a saying that seven gods live inside every grain of rice, and this TV series takes that literally by turning those gods into a group of sisters called the Komekami Girls. Their mother, the Queen of the Rice Gods, gets suddenly yanked back to the celestial realm with no way to return, leaving the girls on their own in Usa City, Oita Prefecture. To find traces of their missing mom, the sisters use a pretty neat trick: they can teleport between Hachiman shrines scattered across Kyushu, and each shrine visit drops them into a new local problem to solve. The vibe here is warm and grounded despite the divine premise.
