📖 SYNOPSIS

"Kiitaro's Yokai Picture Diary" follows Kiitaro, a young boy with a remarkable ability to perceive spirits. His life takes an unexpected turn when he trespasses into a forbidden storehouse, leading to his expulsion from his home. Seeking refuge, Kiitaro finds a new place to live, where he encounters Suzu, a zashiki warashi. Their bond becomes the catalyst for attracting a diverse array of youkai. The series chronicles Kiitaro's interactions with these folkloric creatures, starting with a nurikabe and mokumokuren. Each encounter offers a glimpse into the world of Japanese folklore and the unique personalities of the spirits that inhabit it.
