📖 SYNOPSIS

"Kanpai!" follows Edward, a space-faring individual, as he encounters Sakura at a bar located within a spaceship. Sakura, having grown up in a Japanese sake brewery, introduces Edward to the world of sake, Japan's national drink. She shares her knowledge of sake production, from the brewing process to the different types and the customs surrounding its consumption. Intrigued, Edward accompanies Sakura to her family's brewery. There, he gains firsthand experience of the meticulous sake-making process and learns about the profound importance of sake within Japanese culture. The anime explores themes of cultural exchange, appreciation for tradition, and the shared enjoyment of a unique beverage.
