It feels like the series is shifting away from its usual social commentary and comedy, putting more focus on the drama instead. Unfortunately, the comedy in this episode, especially the misunderstandings didn't really click with me. The birthday party scenes were sweet, but also somewhat sad. That feeling became even stronger when they jumped to the 18th birthday, With the end getting closer, I'm looking forward to seeing how everything will conclude.
