📖 SYNOPSIS
"Kaede New Town" follows Mikio Osawa, an ordinary fifth-grade boy living in the Osaka suburbs. Mikio harbors a secret crush on his classmate, the adorable Haruko Tezuka, but his shyness prevents him from expressing his feelings. His close friend, Megane, delivers the disheartening news that Haruko is preparing to move away. This romantic comedy, created by Osaka-born illustrator Naoto Iwakiri, promises a heartwarming journey through the trials and tribulations of childhood romance. The animation is set in a nostalgic environment, enhanced by music from Aprils and TOMOVSKY, aiming to evoke the feeling of revisiting one's own childhood.
