I was worried the anime would continue with a very optimistic tone, making the group's first presentation seem uneventful, but that's not the case. The episode does a great job of portraying the anxiety of this first obstacle, and we see a less enthusiastic and carefree Kurusu than in previous episodes, which makes him all the more interesting. Learning about the kabuki play "Sannin Kichisa Kuruwa" is also fascinating and makes me really want to see a live-action version of it.
