📖 SYNOPSIS

"Kaba no Potomasu" follows Potomas, a hippo who possesses the extraordinary ability to speak like a human. He keeps this secret, known only to young children Maki and Toshi. Potomas attempts to blend in, wearing a green T-shirt emblazoned with a large "P," though he hopes it remains unnoticed. His life takes a dramatic turn when, in a moment of forgetfulness, he speaks to a child he rescues from drowning. This slip-up sparks rumors of a talking hippo, forcing Potomas to go on the run. The anime explores themes of secrecy, acceptance, and the challenges of being different, all while showcasing the hippo's struggle to maintain his hidden identity.
