📖 SYNOPSIS
"Kaba Enchou no Doubutsuen Nikki" follows aging zookeeper Toshio Nishiyama as he welcomes two new trainees to his zoo. The first, Takeshi Ishizawa, is a short-tempered former chef, while the second, Ichiro Hasegawa, is a gentle veterinarian. Both are surprised by the unexpected challenges of their new roles, including dealing with an escaped pelican, a dying camel, and the birth of a hippo. The special is based on anecdotes from the real-life zookeeper Toshio Nishiyama, who appears at the beginning and end to share his love for animals and reveal that Ishizawa represents his younger self. The series explores the joys and hardships of working with animals.
