Aaaaaa that ending was... :') bittersweet to say the least. Great execution of "less is more" as it didn't need a lot of dialogue to deliver the emotional damage

And I thought the events last episode was crazy. The development here is crazier! Reveal after reveal keeps the hype up from start to finish.

The action scenes are what you'd expect from an old anime, but it's not a major turn-off. The reveals here are crazyyyy

Old but gold anime. Really like the ending here! There were lots of subtle meanings here and there but that's what makes its whole narrative unique

Neko was too cute here. Never did I expect this group coming together but it was a nice touch. The cliffhanger keeps you engaged too

Really like how each clan has their own gimmick. Homura's chant is so fitting. The last scene was so unexpected tho!

Man, huge payoff but at what cost? 🥲 But objectively, Munakata's split second decision was a good one

I can't with the fan service in this ep lmao. But amidst all that action, this episode still came with endearing moments so yay!

Really find Anna's character interesting. She's princess-coded~ and it's so cute that everyone has her back 🥹

The dialogue between the kings was totally unexpected, but you can feel both the sadness and unshakable resolve in their voices

We haven't got much character spotlight from Mikoto before so this episode is a nice surprise. And it's interesting that even Homura is literally a gang, they still have some kind of organization 😮

Really like that our POV here is mostly with the Reds. The writing is more on motivations and dialogue here so it seems slow

Did not expect the backstory to be like that, but I still have so many questions... Mikoto's power is very intriguing. That showcase was so peak

Huge lore drop but the animation in the second half is just as amazing and kept the tension high. That last scene especially was a highlight!

I want to point out the comedy in this episode bc it unexpectedly came from the Blues this time. It's so subtle but it still hits in the right ways jshdkfjs

The plot thickens with some actual movement. The shift in Shiro's motivations isn't in-your-face but still satisfying to see

My focus keeps dropping in the middle, idk if it's the event structure, the atmosphere, or the dialogue that does this. But that unexpected power thing was awesome!

OST slaps as always. Istg with each passing episode, especially in this one, the reveals keep making more questions than answers omg. But at least that keeps you hooked
