yukio_yukimura_490★★★☆☆EP 1the ending theme is surprisingly catchy for such a short episode and it actually has a better beat than most of the background music they used earlier
Seiya Uno is a high school kid who prefers his evenings quiet and low-stakes, telescope out, park to himself, exactly how he likes it, until one evening he runs into Kaedeko, a tall girl wearing basically nothing under her coat, and suddenly his telescope nights get a lot more complicated. She ends up transferring into his class, explaining she moved from Akita to Tokyo and has been struggling to find her footing in a new city. Her method for building confidence? Walking around the park underdressed. Unconventional, sure, but it leads to the two of them actually talking, and something real starts developing between them. This 2-episode OVA from Blue bread, adapted from the manga, leans harder into the romance and self-acceptance angle than you might expect from the premise. Kaedeko's arc is genuinely about someone trying to figure out who she is in an unfamiliar place, and Seiya is a decent, grounded character to anchor that alongside. If you've watched something like Ane Koi or Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo and appreciated when those stories remembered to give characters actual personalities between the fan-service, this sits in similar territory. It is a hentai OVA, so go in knowing what that means, but the setup has more warmth and character groundwork than the genre usually bothers with. Short commitment, two episodes, and the coming-of-age framing gives it a bit more texture than you'd typically expect.
yukio_yukimura_490★★★☆☆EP 1the ending theme is surprisingly catchy for such a short episode and it actually has a better beat than most of the background music they used earlier
tatsumaki_tornado★☆☆☆☆EP 1I can not get over how non existent the plot is and they did not even try to give a reason for why those characters were in the kitchen
iris_cannary_171★★★★☆EP 1I was mostly just checking this out because the title sounded like a weird parody of other shows but the way the main girl is actually kind of sweet in the beginning made the ending hit a lot harder, and the art style reminds me of those older titles from the mid 2000s so that nostalgia really carried me through the slow parts
filo_feather_150★★★☆☆EP 1you can tell they spent the whole budget on the first five minutes because the rest of the episode looked like a slideshow of static images with a filter on top
marluxia_454★★★☆☆EP 1those character proportions are absolutely insane and it makes some of the movements look really clunky when they are trying to do anything fast
great_fairy★★★★☆EP 1Lighting in the bedroom scene was actually impressive for this kind of budget, and the detail on the character models was better than anything else in the episode
menomaru★★★☆☆EP 1my head was hurting from how loud the voice acting was during the library scene and I just could not get into the mood with that shrieking
kido_knight★★☆☆☆EP 1that first scene in the classroom went on way too long and the dialogue was super boring for a show that is supposed to be more about the action
asukawaifu★★★★☆EP 1The designs in the opening scene are bright and pop out at you especially with the main girl and her ridiculous hair
ein★★★☆☆EP 1the animation is kind of hit or miss but that part where the music picks up during the confession was actually decent enough for the intro
jiro_jolt_127★☆☆☆☆EP 1That scene where Usami just grabs Misaki and forces himself on him is actually pretty scary and it makes the whole romance vibe feel wrong
devonte2847★☆☆☆☆EP 1Usami being ten years older than Misaki and doing all that stuff without asking is making this a very weird watch in hindsight
groudon★★★★☆EP 1My heart broke for Usami when Takahiro announced his engagement because you can see his world just falling apart right there in the living room
yveltal★★☆☆☆EP 1Misaki finding those spicy novels with his brother as a main character was the most awkward thing ever and his face said it all
solgaleo★★☆☆☆EP 1I forgot how much of a creep Usami is in the beginning but that scene where he starts crying over Takahiro getting married actually got to me
guts_the_swordsman_189★★★★☆EP 1most of these short series feel rushed but this one took its time and now the wait for the conclusion is going to be painful
sailor_neptune★★★☆☆EP 1it is a very cold start for a series and the lack of explanation makes the whole vibe feel a bit more mysterious than I expected
bloo_balloon★★★★☆EP 1watching this without knowing anything beforehand was weird but the setup for the next episode is actually pretty solid
dark_beast_ganon★★★★☆EP 1the animation quality was surprisingly consistent throughout the whole thing, and that cliffhanger is going to stay in my head until the finale drops
saria★★★★☆EP 1the characters felt much more established than I expected for such a short series and the art style is actually pretty clean too
