This finale delivers exactly what it needs to. The battle on Mount Olympus is a fitting culmination of everything the season has been building toward. Clover's defeat is brutal (in the uncut version, at least), and the bonds between Joker and his allies are reaffirmed. But this finale gives us a satisfying endpoint for the season's major arcs.
