Synopsis
Born into one of the kingdom's most powerful ducal families, Scarlet El Vandimion is a noblewoman who's spent years quietly enduring her fiancé's awful behavior. Then, in front of the entire aristocracy at a grand ballroom, Prince Kyle publicly dumps her and accuses her of bullying some baron's daughter — none of which is true. Everyone immediately labels her a villainess. So Scarlet does what any reasonable person would do: she punches the prince in the face. This music video for Shiyui's "Inferior" captures that exact energy — the ending theme from Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii deshou ka, condensed into a single gorgeous sequence. What makes it work is the contrast between Scarlet's refined, aristocratic composure and the raw defiance underneath. The animation pairs elegant ballroom aesthetics with surprisingly dynamic action choreography, and Shiyui's track ties the whole emotional arc together in a way that hits harder than you'd expect from a standalone music piece. If you liked the villainess-gets-even premise of My Next Life as a Villainess but wanted someone who actually fights back, or if Revolutionary Girl Utena's blend of elegance and rebellion is your thing, this scratches that itch in under five minutes. It's also a solid entry point if you're curious about the parent series — the tone lands somewhere between cathartic and bittersweet, with just enough context to make you want the full story.
