Immoral Sisters
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Power, money, and coercion are laid bare from the start in Ai Shimai: Futari no Kajitsu — no dressing it up. Taketo Nogawa is the spoiled son of a wealthy industrialist, and when a traffic accident puts an ordinary housewife, Yukie, in a financially desperate position, he exploits it without hesitation. Unable to cover the settlement costs, Yukie finds herself trapped in a contract that strips away any real choice she had. Meanwhile, Taketo's father runs a parallel scheme involving Yukie's stepdaughter Rumi, and the situation spirals from there. The whole setup is deliberately dark — this is a story built around control and vulnerability, and it doesn't soften that. Adapted from a visual novel by ELF Corporation, the 3-episode OVA from 2001 carries that source material's attention to character framing and psychological tension, with clean animation that holds up reasonably well for its era. If you've watched something like Bible Black or Discipline: The Record of a Crusade and appreciated how those titles built atmosphere around morally complicated dynamics, this sits in that same space. It's not action or romance — it's closer to a slow, uncomfortable drama where the power imbalance is the whole point. Going in knowing that makes it a more coherent watch. Not for everyone, but if that niche is your thing, it delivers what it's going for.
