We continue with the drama from the last episode, but exploring more facets. Yamato and Mitsuki try to return to normal without having resolved anything, but the tension is palpable; everyone can feel it. Yamato's cynicism has returned to bite him after so long of belittling the sensitivity and vulnerability of others. Now it's time for him to take responsibility for his own personality and act accordingly. Momo and Yuki are a great support, giving the younger kids advice and a different perspective, but they also have their own battles unfolding in parallel. I appreciate that these problems aren't solved overnight with a simple hug; it's more realistic to see how, even wanting to fix things, a damaged person can sabotage themselves more than once, affecting everyone who wants to help.
