This episode opens with some pretty harsh scenes about Trigger, and it's ominous regarding the fate of the idol group that served as role models for our protagonists in the first season. The rest of the episode takes place at an elegant event, and the conversations there serve as a bridge to maintain continuity with the events of previous seasons. If you haven't seen any of the other seasons, this episode will definitely catch you up on what everyone is talking about. The animation and backgrounds are impeccable, and even though the episode takes place in only a few locations and there isn't much action, it doesn't feel heavy or boring to watch. Somehow, they managed to make a lot of conversations interesting and dynamic to follow.
