This episode mainly focuses on Kaoru wondering if she’s really compatible with Hajime. Honestly, I think her way of thinking here was pretty misguided, but it did give Hajime the chance to pull off a surprise attack on her, which made the situation entertaining. The references were toned down in this episode. I guess they were taking a break after going full blast with them in the previous episode 😏
