So, based off of this episode and the last, I think this may be following that one-shot style of storytelling, where the main characters are the hotel staff rather than a character with whom we explore the world and their individual story. Of course, this may prove false in coming episodes, but I wouldn't mind something like this, not at all. I'm sure characters from the past would appear here and there, but we'll see with future episodes regardless. This episode's storyline was rather interesting to watch play out, and those last five-ish minutes really engaged and captivated me, and the use of orchestral music feels really intentional in an almost haunting way. I'd say I'm interested in where this is going to go, and I'm looking forward to seeing that.
